Scope and effective date
This policy applies to Gen2Recomp.net from August 10, 2026. It will be reviewed before public launch and whenever hosting, advertising, analytics, forms, embeds, or contact features change.
Data the website may receive
The website has no account, upload form, comment system, payment system or newsletter. The site does not ask visitors to submit ROMs, save files, or personal information.
Host and server logs
Like most websites, the hosting company may record an IP address, device or browser details, visited pages, time and security events so it can deliver and protect the website. The privacy information will be reviewed again before the final public launch.
External download and video services
Download buttons and future creator-video links take visitors to other services with their own privacy policies. Videos are not embedded on the initial website, so a video service is not loaded unless a visitor chooses to open it. Google Analytics is also loaded as described below.
Cookies and local preferences
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits and understand website usage. If the optional fan-site notice is enabled later, closing it may store that choice for the current browsing session. That preference is not used for advertising.

Google Analytics is active and helps measure visits, popular pages, device and browser categories, approximate location, and how visitors move through the website. Data retention and user choices
Visitors can block or delete cookies using their browser settings and can use Google's opt-out tool for Analytics. Blocking some storage may affect preference features. A direct privacy-request method will be added when the dedicated site email is purchased.
Children’s privacy and regional rights
The site is a general informational guide and does not knowingly collect information from children through forms or accounts. Applicable access, deletion, objection, and complaint rights will be supported through the future contact route.

Material changes will update this page and its visible date. The dedicated Gen2Recomp.net email is not yet active and will be added after initial deployment.
