Why this website exists
Gen2Recomp changes quickly, and the release page can be confusing for a player who only wants to know which file to choose and what to do next. This website turns that information into clear pages for computers, Android, controls, saves, mods, updates and the optional 3D-style view.
Pokemon Gold and Silver are given priority because they are the main Generation 2 games. Red, Blue and Yellow remain covered as supported games without mixing Gen1-only instructions into the Gold and Silver setup.
An approved but unofficial fan guide
The Gen2Recomp creator approved this independent informational website on the condition that it is not presented as the official project site. Gen2Recomp.net is therefore clearly labelled fan-made and is not operated by UNDERdecodedHD.
