Why this website exists
Gen2Recomp gives Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal a native app experience, but every device starts differently. Gen2Recomp.net gives players one clear path from the correct download to the first launch, controls, saves, mods, updates and the optional 3D-style view.
Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal are given priority because they are the main Generation 2 games. Red, Blue and Yellow remain covered as supported games without mixing Gen1-only instructions into the Gen2 setup.
An approved but unofficial fan guide
The Gen2Recomp creator approved this independent informational website on the condition that it is not presented as the official project site. Gen2Recomp.net is therefore clearly labelled fan-made and is not operated by UNDERdecodedHD.
