Pokemon and related names, characters, game content and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Gen2Recomp project materials remain the property of their respective authors and are covered by the credits and licences they publish. Mentioning them on this site does not transfer ownership.
Project and download links
Download buttons lead to the Gen2Recomp release page controlled by the project creator. This fan guide may summarize version information, but external files, availability and instructions can change without notice.
ROMs and user responsibility
This website does not provide, host, mirror, extract, or help visitors locate Pokemon ROMs. Users are responsible for supplying their own legally obtained compatible ROM and following the laws that apply to them.

Information is reviewed against current project updates and testing, but Gen2Recomp is under active beta development. Versions, downloads, compatibility, controls, bugs and instructions can change. The visible update date shows when this page was materially reviewed.
Media use and removal requests
Approved project logos, screenshots, and creator videos may be used for informational and educational explanation with attribution. A dedicated contact address for correction or removal requests will be added after initial deployment.
