Which platform is the easiest?
Windows is the simplest computer starting point
The dedicated Windows package already includes the game runtime. Extract it, open the app and choose Pokemon Gold, Silver or Crystal when asked. Mac and Linux also have separate ready-to-run packages.
Portable and console packages need extra preparation
Android, Steam Deck, Switch, Xbox and RG34XXSP are current choices, but each has the platform requirement shown on the download page.
No current package
iOS is not a current choice
Version 0.7.18 does not include an iPhone or iPad package, so this website does not present an older mobile file as a current download.
